RANSON, W.Va. - Plans are well underway for the ninth annual Jefferson Health Care Foundation Golf Tournament, scheduled for Friday, May 14 at Locust Hill Golf Course in Charles Town.
As in the past, five levels of sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $2,000 are available to businesses and individuals with the field of golfers limited to 144 on a first-come, first-serve basis. The goal for this year’s golf fundraiser is $15,000, and Thomassen Auto Group in Charles Town will once again sponsor the hole-in-one prize.
The actual golf day schedule has changed from past tournaments. Registration will begin at 8 am with the shotgun start set for 9 am. The awards ceremony and lunch will be held immediately following play at the Locust Hill pavilion.
The entry fee for individual golfers is $150, which includes green fees, golfer gift, continental breakfast, and refreshments on the course. Sponsorship packages include golfer slots as well as recognition on the course.
Proceeds from the golf fundraiser are used by the foundation to support WVUH-East’s Jefferson Memorial Hospital. For more information on sponsorships or the tournament in general, call the Jefferson Health Care Foundation at (304) 264-1223.
