The seminar, titled Environmental Allergies: Testing and Treatment, will be held on Tuesday, March 20 in the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center on the City Hospital campus. An update on nasal allergens in our area, how to diagnose nasal allergies and what can be done about them will be presented.
The featured speaker for the evening is Majid Shafiei, MD, an otolaryngologist with WVUH-East Ear, Nose and Throat in Martinsburg. Shafiei also serves as a clinical assistant professor for the WVU School of Medicine.
Sign-in for the community mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 pm, with the program to follow from 7 – 8 pm. Light refreshments will be offered at the conclusion of the seminar.
