MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Majid Shafiei M.D., otolaryngologist, recently joined Sohrab Shahab, MD and WVUH-East Ear Nose & Throat, located in the McCormack Center, Suite 3200, on the City Hospital campus.
Shafiei specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions involving the ear, nose, and throat. He has training and special interest in middle ear surgery as well as facial plastic surgery.
A graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine, Shafiei recently completed a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. He has an undergraduate degree in biology from Duke University.
“I am originally from West Virginia and always thought that one day I would like to return here to practice,” Shafiei said, adding, “I know Dr. Shahab from my medical school days at WVU, so I’m very excited to have the opportunity to join him in practice here in the Eastern Panhandle.”
