MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – WVU Hospitals-East’s City Hospital recently recognized 156 employees for their years of service to the hospital at a celebration dinner at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.
Dr. Dawn Jones, president of City Hospital’s medical staff, and City Hospital’s Chief Administrative Officer Anthony Zelenka both shared appreciation to the group for their dedication and service to the hospital. Debbie Minghini, WVUH-East Business Office team member, was recognized for 35 years of service. She was one of 35 staff members recognized for having over 20 years of service.
Also celebrated during the banquet were City Hospital’s monthly Quality Service Award Winners for 2010. From the 12 honorees, Kim Shipley, RN (Nursing Administration) was named City Hospital’s Quality Service Award of the Year winner for 2010. Shipley was recognized for the commitment of excellence to her work which is also of great benefit to the patients and families served at City Hospital. Shipley received a plaque along with a check for $500.
