RANSON, W.Va. - It was like a night at the Oscars on Thurday evening as Jefferson Memorial Hospital honored thirty four employees for five to thirty years of service to the hospital. The annual recognition banquet was held as part of National Hospital Week activities.
In opening remarks, Jefferson Memorial Hospital’s Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Tina Coad thanked the honorees for their years of dedication and service to Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Master of Ceremonies Linda Blanc announced the names of each employee as those in attendance walked the red carpet to receive their award and gift. Over 100 guests were in attendance including WVUH-East Board Directors Walter Washington, Dr. Richard Knapp, Dr. Mitch Jacques, Rhonda Monroe and Sheila Hamilton.
Employees in attendance who were honored for 15 years of service and up are pictured left to right: Carrie Sowers (20 years), Brenda Wilhelm (15 years), Mary Miller (20 years), Mona Shears (25 years), Nancy Pope (20 years), and Judith Shifflett (20 years).
