MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - West Virginia University Hospitals-East and the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Eastern Division will sponsor a community mini-medical school program on an innovative new treatment for Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
The seminar, titled Heartburn, will be held on Tuesday, January 18 in the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center on the City Hospital campus. The featured speakers are Dr. James Carrier and Dr. Robert Cicchino, Jr., board certified general surgeons at City Hospital and clinical assistant professors at WVU.
Sign-in for the community mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 pm, with the program to follow from 7 – 8 pm. Light refreshments will be offered at the conclusion of the seminar.
