MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Debbie Minghini was recently named City Hospital’s Quality Service Award winner for October 2010.
Each month, the hospital’s Service Award Committee selects an employee to receive the Quality Service Award. Minghini, who works in the business office, was nominated based on her many years of quality service to City Hospital.
It was noted in her nomination form that she recently helped a former patient work through some significant insurance hurdles that resulted in the reduction of his co-pay. She is described by co-workers as being dedicated, intent on quality customer service and diligent in her work.
Criteria for selection as a Quality Service Award recipient includes: demonstrating a consistently high level of productivity and quality of work along with a high degree of initiative in performing work responsibilities, displaying exceptional dependability, exhibiting effective relationships with others, displaying a commitment to service and serving the City Hospital community, and meeting the criteria for the WVUH-East mission, vision and values.
Nomination forms for the Quality Service Award are available at locations throughout the City Hospital campus. Anyone who witnesses an employee displaying outstanding service is encouraged to complete and submit a nomination form.
