MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - West Virginia University Hospitals-East and the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Eastern Division will sponsor a community mini-medical school program on proper exercise for all ages to avoid injury.
The seminar, titled Effect of Exercise on the Mature Body, will be held on Tuesday, October 19 in the WVU Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center on the City Hospital campus. The featured speaker is Russell DeGroote, MD, board certified orthopedic surgeon with The Center for Orthopedic Excellence and Tri-State Surgical Center.
Sign-in for the community mini-medical school program begins at 6:30 pm, with the program to follow from 7 – 8 pm. Light refreshments will be offered at the conclusion of the seminar.
