Martinsburg Urology Practice Opens

 

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - West Virginia University Hospitals-East and William W. Kao, M.D. recently announced the opening of WVUH-East Urology, at 2000 Foundation Way in the McCormack Center on the City Hospital campus.
Kao recently completed his residency in urology at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia and a master of science in pharmacology and toxicology at Virginia Commonwealth University, both in Richmond. 
After completing his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Virginia, Kao taught high school chemistry for several years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine.
In his new practice, Kao will be diagnosing and providing medical and surgical treatment for the full spectrum of urologic conditions. These conditions include prostate, bladder, testis and kidney cancers, kidney stones, male and female incontinence, benign prostatic disease, erectile dysfunction and male infertility. He will also be performing in-office procedures, ambulatory outpatient surgeries as well as major urologic surgery at City Hospital.
