MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Christopher J. Murphy, MD, and Antonio S. Garcia, MD, announce the opening of their outpatient practice, WVUH-East Behavioral Health, located in the McCormack Center, Suite 3500, on the City Hospital campus.
Murphy, who has been in practice since 2003, is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC, and the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt in Baltimore.
Garcia recently completed his residency in adult general psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine-Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY. During that time, he served as chief resident in the Department of Psychiatry.
In addition to providing outpatient psychiatric services, both physicians also admit patients to the WVUH-East inpatient behavioral health unit based at City Hospital.
