There
is nothing more exciting then sharing pictures of your newborn
with family and friends. City Hospital has now made this possible
by using Growing Family WebNursery. With Growing
Family WebNursery you can share pictures of your newborn within
days of its arrival. To see your family and friends newborn

At
City Hospital we realize that the support shown by the family
and friends of our patients plays an active role in their emotional
well-being. Equally important is our responsibility to ensure
that our patients receive adequate rest and time for the professional
care they need.
In
order for us to achieve the maximum comfort for all our Hospital
Patients, we ask that visitors adhere to the following visitor
guidelines:
All
visitors are asked to use the main entrance to the Hospital.
Visitors
are limited to 2 per patient.
The
patient's children, grandchildren, and brothers and sisters
(regardless of age) may visit for short periods of time. Younger
children must be accompanied by an adult willing to assume the
responsibility for maintaining the calm and quiet atmosphere
necessary in our patient areas.
Our
Hospital Visiting Hours
Hospital-wide
visiting hours are from 12:30pm until 8:30pm.
Please understand that, on occasion, these visiting hours may
be amended by physicians or nursing staff in order to best meet
the needs of our individual patients. We thank you for your
understanding and support in these circumstances.
Modifications to the Hospital-wide visiting hours are made in
several areas:
Oncology: No restrictions except as requested by the
Nursing Staff during special treatments/procedures.
Gateway Center: Our patients may have visitors from 1-2pm
and from 7-8pm daily. All visits are pre-arranged through Gateway
Social Work Office one hour prior to visitng. Visitors are approved
by the patient and physician and are limited to close family
members or support persons involved in therapy. Adolescents
may only have visits with their parents or legal custodians.
Pediatrics: Special arrangements are made for parents
and siblings. Please see the Nursing Staff for details.
Critical Care: Frequent visits are individually arranged
through the Nursing Staff based on the patient's condition,
treatments, etc.
Obstetrics: Special arrangements are made for fathers
and siblings visiting the Birthing Center. Please see the Nursing
Staff for details.
